The following individuals have participated in the initial and/or ongoing development of MathVIDS. MathVIDS has been developed in two phases, the original MathVIDS site (MathVIDS 1) and the current site (MathVIDS 2). Funding for development has been from The Virginia Department of Education. The authors wrote the MathVIDS text and are the primary conceptual developers of the MathVIDS website. The Development Team was responsible for integrating the various text, digital video, audio, digital picture, and graphic "pieces" into the website based on the conceptual model conceived by the authors. The Model Teachers participated in training, developed individual lessons that illustrate specific instructional strategies, and modeled the instructional strategies for MathVIDS. Without their participation and hard work, MathVIDS would not be have been possible! The MathVIDS Advisory Committee, comprised of professionals from a variety of disciplines, oversaw the development of MathVIDS and provided suggestions/feedback throughout the developmental process. The Teacher Advisory Committee provided suggestions and feedback to the developers of MathVIDS in its initial phase of development.
