ASK A SCIENCE EXPERT
Since our JMU science experts can't be on call 24 hours a day, this site may be a useful tool.  The New Jersey Networking Infrastructure in Education Project has created this page to enable students to ask questions of scientists in a wide range of fields.  Possibilities include Ask a Physical Scientist, Ask a Chemist, Ask a Geologist, Ask a Water Testing Expert, Ask a Volcanologist, Ask a Bird Expert...In most of the areas you can also read the most recent questions posed by others.

GLOBE (Global Learning and Observation for a Better Environment)
GLOBE is a  worldwide network of students, teachers, and scientists collaborating on environmental studies and projects.  Click on Educator's Corner, then choose a topic under Learning Activities (upper elementary) or click on Scientist's Corner to communicate directly with a scientist.

ACTIVITIES INTEGRATING MATH AND SCIENCE
