Being a parent of a child with a learning disability or ADHD involves being an advocate for the most appropriate educational services for your child. Deciding what is most appropriate for a particular child should be a joint decision between the parent and the members of the IEP committee. However, the IEP committee must consider all possible options in order to arrive at the best decision.
