The Learning Toolbox uses a strategy instruction approach. This approach has been supported by the research of Deshler (1996), Mastropierri (2000), and the developers of this web site. We have used the Learning Toolbox strategy instruction approach with college students with learning disabilities and ADHD. Many of these college students were able to improve their learning of academic content and significantly improve their grades.
