Hello, and welcome to the Jo Teacher site.
Who is Jo Teacher and what can you expect to find when you visit
this site?
Well, Jo Teacher represents teachers like you who are interested
in becoming NETS*T certified and who integrate technology into
teaching and learning in order to enhance instruction and to
improve student academic achievement.
Here at the Jo Teacher site you will find a reference portfolio
that you may want to review as you prepare your own portfolio.
You will also find tips for completing the NETS*T certification
process.
But this site will also
- guide you to related professional development activities
- introduce you to tools for virtual collaboration
- help you discover tools for content creation and assessment
- and address additional topics of interest to Virginia teachers
in integrating technology effectively into their instruction
From time to time, I hope to offer live events that will offer
more in-depth reviews of best practices and technology
integration tips and tools.
Throughout this project, the role of Jo Teacher and the focus of
this site will change. Your input into the content of the site
