The Journey
Begins
I first heard about NETS*T certification through my
collaboration with the SVTC Ed Tech Consortium.
When the consortium developed their project proposal, they
developed a method for certifying that teachers had demonstrated
proficiency in each of the NETS*T standards.
This early project became the foundation for what has developed
into JMU’s Microsoft Partners in Learning grant.
I had already become an NTTI Master Teacher and this seemed like
a logical next step in my professional growth.
So I decided to do some investigating.
