SVTC Program begins

In the spring of 2003, the SVTC submitted a proposal to the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) in support of the No Child Left Behind Educational Technology competitive grant.  As a result, the SVTC was awarded a five-year grant to help prepare practicing teachers to use technology to enhance their teaching.  The participating SVTC school divisions are shown below.  For more information, see the SVTC NCLB Ed Tech project web.
