Hello and welcome to the Blue Ridge West’s Virtual Community of Practice.  My name is Heather Blanton and I am the manager for the Blue Ridge West’s USBs VCOP.

Arthur C. Clarke said, "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."   As Instructional Technology Resource Teachers, we are the means of dissemination of this magic.  We are making connections between great teaching practices and seamless technology integration.

I am so excited to serve as your VCOP manager.  The VCOP encourages a free exchange of practices and ideas.  Together, we’re linking Virginia’s educators to the future!
