This is a listening grid that is helpful for students to follow
along as they listen to a piece of music. Each block represents one
measure, and within some of the blocks, there are descriptions that
indicate what is going on within the piece. Students tap the beat within
each measure in order to follow along. Teachers, tap first with your
copy to show them how to do it, then allow them to listen and tap on
their own! This selection is the Bird catcher Aria, sung by Papageno in
Act I, when he is introducing himself to Tamino and says that he killed
