Course projects result in electronic products that can assist all SVTC teachers to enhance their teaching with technology.

Examples of suitable course products include (but are not limited to):
 

   
  * On-line training on how to use a specific technology (e.g., Microsoft Producer) in the classroom.
 
  * Review of a research-based teaching strategy (e.g., Scaffolding) and how technology can be used to enhance it
 
  * Results of a pilot study on innovative applications of educational technology (e.g., videoconferencing to support Homebound Instruction) with suggestions on implementation for other teachers.
 
 

As a general rule of thumb, projects should reflect professional engagement of approximately 40 hours.

When completed, these products will be posted to the VCOP web for easy access.  All products are geared specifically to use by SVTC teachers, although it is anticipated that product applicability may extend beyond the SVTC.

Projects must be approved by the instructor prior to the start of the project.
