My actual motivation for the project came from Burrous Snellings.  He suggested an interactive plagiarism website.  The school where I work had some instances of plagiarism last year.  However, students were not punished because they blamed their teacher for not explaining plagiarism.  Due to that situation, all teachers must present a lesson on plagiarism.  I thought this website would be great to fulfill that requirement.

Under the tutelage of Mr. Snellings, I created my first website using Lectora.  For more information on Lectora, visit their website at www.lectora.com.  The whole process has taken me over 40 hours (design, creating scenarios, and quiz).  We tested the website out on our Principal, a Science teacher, and an English teacher.  In addition, we also had two 9th grade students evaluate the site.

This was a great learning experience.  As I said before, this was the first website I created.  I do not know if I would recommend Lectora to other teachers.  It is a very finicky program.  I do wish I could have seen other software.  However, it was what was available to me and what Mr. Snellings has worked with previously.
